Heartist Recognition Committee

The Heartist Recognition Committee meets monthly for colleagues and leaders to nominate their peers for their outstanding efforts. Hotel-wide engagement and excitement is driven through our monthly celebrations, rewarding those being recognized and those who have taken the time to recognize others. Getting our Heartists together to celebrate milestones and memorable events makes the Heartist committee fun to be on as a member as well!

Sustainability Committee

Jasper Park Lodge is the largest business within Jasper National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and therefore has a large responsibility to operate to the highest sustainability standards. The Planet 21 Sustainability Committee meets monthly to discuss and implement environmental and sustainability initiatives across the property in a fun and productive manner. The committee is open to all Heartists that are interested in building a better and brighter future for us all in Jasper! Learn more.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee is made up of four pillars: Gender Diversity (RiiSE), Race & Cultural Diversity, LGBTQIA+ and Ability & Accessibility. We are looking for engaged colleagues who are passionate about any (or all) of these pillars to join the team and work towards true acceptance, inclusion and accessibility for all. Learn more.

Health & Safety Committee

The Health & Safety Committee provides a formal forum for management and workers to work together in a non-adversarial effort to promote health and safety in the workplace. The Health & Safety committee evaluates the status of the health and safety system development and implementation, reviews outcome measures, and makes recommendations to the employer regarding health and safety issues.
